Moving: Making More Out of Less

When it comes to moving, having less isn't necessarily a bad thing. In fact, the less you have with you, the more you might be better off.   As time passes, it is normal for many people to amass quite a quantity of useless, unused, or barely used items and things. Bringing these items along would a bad idea.   But don't be too quick to throw them all in the trash. Be sure first, that you separate the meaningless things from the others, and then you may consider selling them in a garage sale. As the old saying goes, one man's trash is another man's treasure. The money you earn can be put to good use, either as a supplementary fund for the move, or simply as extra savings or spending money.   You can also donate the stuff to charities and the needy - you not only make your move lighter, but you also do a good deed. What more can you ask for, right?   Of course, there will be things that really are destined for the garbage bin, but do not forget to recycle properly and dispose of your garbage responsively.   The general rule is to start sifting through your stuff as early as possible, so that you have the chance to assess whether or not you will be bringing along a particular item or not.
